Ohio’s TechCred program helps employers cover the cost of technology-focused training for their teams. It enables companies to build new skills, earn recognized certifications, and boost productivity—without incurring direct training expenses.

- Reimbursement of $2,000 per employee per credential.
- Up to $30,000 per enrollment period and $180,000 annually per employer.

How much funding can we get?
Up to $2,000 per employee, with a maximum of $30,000 per funding round.
How often can we apply?
There are multiple funding rounds each year. Employers can apply in each round.
How long are the courses?
Our TechCred-approved courses run 4–8 weeks, with 2–4 hours per week of live, online instruction.
Do we pay upfront?
Yes, employers pay tuition first, then submit proof of completion to receive reimbursement from the state.
